SCHLÖSSERSINGEN A LIVING TRADITION WITH HEART

On 28 June, Green Castle Hantberg was transformed into a stage for the popular Schlössersingen for the fourth time – in fantastic weather and with around 600 enthusiastic guests.

The ‘Oafoch g’sungan’ choir presented a varied programme with top-class performers, including the Gaishorn Auslese singing group, the Resonanzraum youth ensemble, the Hatzendorf theatre group, the Weinberger Böhmische, Franz Windisch with his tree horn and the ATK Von der Groeben.

The special atmosphere of the castle garden, fine regional delicacies and musical variety made the evening unforgettable.
The lady of the castle, Mrs Pscheidl, was there late into the night – as were Mayor Johann Winkelmaier, Andrea Hauder, who represented us on site, and other guests of honour.

A heartfelt thank you came from the ‘Oafoch G’sungan’ association, who expressed their gratitude for the use of the location and presented a handmade gift.
The castle’s new suites were also occupied for the first time this weekend – another wonderful milestone.

A successful celebration – and atmospheric proof of how vibrant culture can be.
