9 days full of unforgettable experiences – what a journey!
The 22 participants from the Frühauf, Jäkel and Brejcha directorates travelled to Punta Cana for nine days, to a fantastic resort with a huge pool area, direct access to the sea and a selection of fantastic restaurants. Perfect conditions for having a great time together. Whether tennis, table tennis or volleyball – the programme included sporting activities as well as relaxing hours on the beach, stimulating conversations and plenty of good humour. Of course, the programme also included an informative seminar in which valuable specialist knowledge was imparted.
The highlight? Definitely the off-the-beaten-track experiences. With a German expatriate who has called the Dominican Republic home for over 40 years, we got to know the island from a whole new perspective. We experienced a fascinating voodoo ritual, strolled through lively markets, spent a day in a beach club and enjoyed a boat trip to the dream island of Saona, where we soaked up the Caribbean lifestyle to the full between white beaches and palm trees. Culinary-wise, we could look forward to local specialities – simply delicious!
After these intensive, inspiring days, everyone returned full of new energy and zest for action, ready to tackle 2025 with fresh vigour and new ideas.
