A VISIT FROM OUR SWISS PARTNERS

Last week, we welcomed 14 of our Swiss business partners to Austria. The trip provided an ideal opportunity to get to know our assets first-hand and gain valuable insights into our sustainable projects.

The tour began on 25 February with the arrival at Vienna Airport, where our CEO Michael Kottnig welcomed the group together with Martin Hauder (Sun Invest). The tour continued directly to the Green Business Centre Linz. A culinary reception at Balazs Gastro was followed by a short tour of the GBC Linz. The participants were given interesting information about the construction method, the innovative heating system and the efficient use of energy in the building. The combination of sustainable architecture and modern technology made this part of the programme particularly impressive. In the afternoon, the tour led to the construction project in Weng. Rifet Mulalic, Managing Director of Immo Werte GmbH, gave a personal tour of the property and answered numerous questions about the construction and the special features of the project. The participants gained valuable insights into sustainable construction methods and innovative property development. After a short stop at MEG Mauerkirchen, the tour returned to the GBC, where Martin Hauder and Markus Urmann gave an informative seminar on sun contracting. The day ended with a successful dinner at the Steakhouse Linz on the Danube.

The next morning, the group travelled on to Graz with the famous Linzer Torte in their luggage. There, the Green Business Centre Graz was on the agenda, another impressive example of modern architecture. After a short coffee break, the tour continued to Hantberg Castle, where Ambassador of Green Castle, Elfriede Pscheidl, warmly welcomed the participants. After a culinary and traditional refreshment, she personally gave a detailed tour of the entire grounds. The group spent the night at the Green Hotel Römerstein. Between relaxing wellness moments and an enjoyable dinner, another training session by Michael Kottnig was of course a must, rounding off the day with valuable information.

Another highlight awaited on the last day: a visit to the Zotter chocolate factory. The insights into the world of chocolate not only provided enjoyment, but also enthusiasm about sustainable production. Before heading back to Switzerland, there was an essential stopover in Vienna at Leberstrasse 122, the location of our future Green Business Centre Vienna. Here, the participants were able to take a look at the plans and visions for this important project. After intensive discussions, enriching impressions and a wealth of new information, our partners travelled home inspired and motivated.

This tour was not only a journey through our portfolio, but also a strengthening of our shared vision for sustainable property projects. We are already looking forward to the next reunion!
