VIENNA CHRISTMAS-TRIP

At the beginning of December, together with our COO Michael Kottnig, we welcomed our valued business partners from Italian-speaking Switzerland to a special three-day event in Vienna. The event was not only characterised by exciting experiences and intensive discussions, but also by cultural highlights and a festive atmosphere.

On the first day, our guests were picked up directly from the airport and, after a brief check-in in the heart of Kärntner Straße, taken to the famous Kunsthistorisches Museum for lunch. Enchanted, we marvelled at the breathtaking art collection over good wine and traditional Wiener Schnitzel, which visibly impressed our partners. Freshly fortified, we started our Christkindl tour from Maria-Theresien-Platz. The walk through Vienna’s city centre, past the most beautiful Christmas markets to Rathausplatz, offered a magical atmosphere. We rounded off the evening with good music and drinks in the Hannelore Bar.

The second day began with a nostalgic horse-drawn carriage ride through the old town, followed by an exploration of St Stephen’s Cathedral. We then travelled on to Schönbrunn Palace, where the master baker initiated us into the secrets of traditional apple strudel preparation. After the tasting and a few rounds of punch at the Christmas market, we fortified ourselves at the renowned Plachutta restaurant. An atmospheric night tour through Christmassy Vienna rounded off the day, which ended on a cosy note in the Skybar.

The third and final day began with a special experience – the morning gymnastics of the Lipizzaner horses at the Spanish Riding School. As a grand finale, the tour took us to the construction site of the future Green Business Centre Vienna at Leberstraße 122, where we looked back on the past few days over a glass of sparkling wine and snacks and looked forward to the upcoming joint projects.

We would like to thank our Swiss partners for this inspiring time and look forward to many more successful encounters!
